Have you visited Hyde Park Village for Halloween? What a wonderful experience it has been for us for the past 7 years and we are looking forward to another one!
This year, Partners In Education and the Lanpher Library are teaming up to help support the village residents who so graciously open their doors and their hearts to neighbors near and far. The two organizations are hosting a candy drop this year. If you would like to support the village residents, please drop off your bags of candy to the Lanpher Library starting on Tuesday, October 22nd. All donations of candy will need to be at the library by closing time on Wednesday, October 30th. See the website for library hours: www.lanpherlibrary.org. You may also drop bags through the book drop when the library is closed.
If you are a village resident and would like to receive donations of candy, please contact Heather at [email protected]. Also, check out this tribute to Hyde Park Halloween that was written by a local writer last year: http://markfreeman.wordpress.com/2012/10/29/halloween-in-the-park/
