MONDAY, AUGUST 17TH AT 6:00 AT LOWE LECTURE HALL ON MAIN STREET IN JOHNSON!

TIM JENNINGS AND LEANNE PONDER
Wolves! Folktales where the wolf is not the bad guy.
It seems like folktale wolves are always the villains of the stories they are in.  But wolf-lovers rejoice!  Here are three traditional tales from Asia and Eastern Europe that show these wonderful animals in a very different light:  as heroes, worthy of our love and respect.

Tim and Leanne have been performing together for over 25 years.  They are married, and live in Montpelier with a feisty little dog and a marmalade cat.

This program is FREE and all ages are welcome to come.
Sponsored by the Johnson Public Library, the Lanpher Memorial Library with a grant from the VT Dept. of Libraries.

Grannie Snow will be at the Lanpher Memorial Library on Monday, July 13th at 6:00 for Night Owl Story Time to introduce her newest book in the Silas Series:  Silas Meets Opal.

"They meet, they hiss, they spit!  Will Big Old Striped Silas ever welcome Miss Opal into his home?  A bit of scolding and a lot of patience is in order as Silas and Opal figure out what being true friends is really all about."

Grannie Snow will sell and sign books at the Library for 10.99...and of course the Lanpher Library will have a copy for our patrons to check out and read too.

We hope readers of all ages will join us!
