The Friends of the Lanpher Memorial Library are kicking off their Spring Speaker Series on Thursday, April 5th at 6:00 p.m. with local artist, Karen Winslow. Karen will do a live portrait demonstration and discussion.
The portrait demonstration will join her "Face to Face, Community to Community" project where she uses neighbors and friends to model for an 8 X 8 inch square portrait. When she reaches 100 portriats, she will sell each piece for $200, with half of the proceeds donated to a charity, or individual in need.
