It may still be winter, but it's time to start thinking about the July 1st Food Scrap Ban as part of Act 148.
To celebrate, local libraries are hosting book discussions with LRSWMD.
On Monday, Feb. 24th, you can stop by between 5:00-7:00 to learn about the Book Discussion Tour, pick up a copy of "Kiss the Ground", by Josh Tickell for the Lanpher Library's March 26th 6:00 book discussion, and learn more about composting and the Food Scrap Ban.
Cormac Quinn the ECO Americorps Volunteer at LRSWMD will lead Night Owl Story Time at 6:00 on Monday, February 24th as as part of the Kick Off Celebration too, so bring the kids for something to do during February break!
