The Lanpher Library is open today, Wednesday, November 22nd for our regular hours 10-5. When winter weather hits, it is our policy to keep our regular hours. However occasionally we do close if the storm is really bad, so it's always best to call, or check the website if you are unsure.
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 28TH AT 6:00 AT THE LANPHER LIBRARY Get a sneak peek at a scene from the Lamoille County Player's Production of Irving Berlin's White Christmas. "Based on the beloved, timeless film, this heartwarming musical adaptation features seventeen Irving Berlin songs and a book by David Ives and Paul Blake. Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former army commander. The dazzling score features well known standards including Blue Skies, I Love A Piano, How Deep Is the Ocean and the perennial favorite, White Christmas." Shows are December 1-4th and 8-11th. Please visit lcplayers.org for more information, or to purchase tickets. Monday, November 21st at 3:00, the Junior Naturalist Program at the Lanpher Library will include a slide show, hands-on materials and games to help us learn how these two Vermont inhabitants live as our neighbors. FREE! FUN! INFORMATIVE AND INTERACTIVE! All ages are welcome.
