OUR MISSION: To promote the understanding and appreciation of Lanpher Memorial Library and its mission by supporting the freedom to read and placing books in more hands. Through volunteerism, advocacy, increasing public awareness, fundraising and creating partnerships, the Friends of Lanpher Memorial Library seeks to enhance the library’s role in the Hyde Park community.

The Friends dedicated the first registered Little Free Library in Lamoille County on May 1, 2019 at the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail, Trail Head on Depot St. Hyde Park.
