GUSTO! Performance Poetry Workshop with Vermont's Slammaster: Geof Hewitt.
We're hosting a Poetry Slam on Friday, April 28th. To prepare, join us for a workshop where participants will explore the five dimensions of slamming: projection, expression, variety, eye contact and gesture. The session will start with a writing exercise, but feel welcome to bring a few of your own poems to work with too.

Lanpher Memorial Library biennial POETRY SLAM!
Perform an original poem. (No props, costumes, or music)
We'll give prizes in 3 age categories as judged by randomly selected audience members.
Attend to listen, perform, enjoy a supportive community event, eat some refreshments....all of the above!

Overdue materials? Guilty Conscience? Accruing overdue DVD fees on your account? We'll waive it all when you bring in a non-perishable food item to put in our donation box for the Lamoille Community Food Share.
The food donation box is at the Lanpher Library all year long where we collect donations to give to L.C.F.S. Non-perishable food, paper product, hygiene products...
