Please join us on Monday, February 24th at 6:00 when Night Owl Story Time goes to the dogs!  Well, to one dog anyway...Eddie Justice will be at the library with his human to read a bit from his book and to help us understand more about kindness toward all animals!
Here is more about Eddie and a link to his website:  eddiejustice.com
"Eddie Justice is about 8 years old.  He met his mama December 1st of 2012 and has not been hungry, cold, or sad since that day.  He lives in Morrisville, Vermont on 12 acres in a log cabin, where he is free to run around wherever he wants and meets new friends all the time.  He also goes on walks every day with different human and animal friends and is incredibly excited about that.  He and his mama decided that all the proceeds of the book will go to animal rescue so many other dogs will be as lucky as he is!  And last, but not least, he prefers convertibles to closed cars, at least in the summer!"

About every two months, the Lanpher Library is home to the art of different local artists.  Currently, on display, we have the paintings of Morristown artist, Kim Barbour.  Kim grew up in a town called Milford in Southern New Hampshire.  While she was in school, she studied drawing, painting, graphic design and culinary...and she took pretty much every additional class in art that she could, whether it was after school, or in the summer. In 2008 Kim moved to Vermont where she met her husband, and has been living in the Morrisville area ever since.  Kim has an upcoming display at the Bee's Knees in Morrisville from May 27th to July 26th, 2014.
Kim says, "I find the local scenery truly inspiring.  Prior to living in Vermont, I primarily focused on drawings and paintings of people and objects.  In the last few years I have been drawn to nature. .This year I have started to do many paintings of local landscapes, which have been some of my favorite work."

Please visit the Lanpher Library, Mondays 12-7, Tuesdays, Wedne
