 Stacey Wein, the Copley Hospital Health Sciences Librarian, has put together a display to educate the public about United States Pharmacopeial (USP) Pictograms. USP Pictograms are standardized graphic images that help convey medication instructions, precautions, and/or warnings to patients and consumers. This display will be at the Lanpher Library for the next few weeks. Pictograms help by using simple images that are particularly helpful in passing on important information to patients. They make it easier to understand directions of prescriptions, avoiding errors, resulting in safe and effective drug use. Please stop by the Lanpher Library to take a look at the display and pick up a handout of the most common USP Pictograms along with their definitions.   Tax Booklets and Forms are no longer sent out to Libraries and Post Offices as they have been in the past. At the Lanpher Library, we DO have a few copies of the more common instruction booklets and forms...while supplies last.
We have catalogued the 1040 A , 1040 EZ and the Vermont Instruction Booklet so that patrons can check out for a week and return for others to use...just like any other Library materials.
