The Friends of the Lanpher Memorial Library are giving you the opportunity to help the Library increase the number of chairs for comfortable seating with their Chair Dedication Program: "Pull Up a Chair" A donation of $50 covers the cost of a chair and a simple commemorative brass plaque on the back. Order forms are available at the Lanpher Memorial Library and the number of chairs is limited! Only 15 left. |
The bricks cost $100 each and you can order them online: https://polarengraving.com/secondcongregationalchurchofhydepark
For $20 they also offer the opportunity to light the bell tower for a week in honor or in memory of someone. https://2congoucc.weebly.com/tower-light-memorial-page.html
Proceeds from these gifts will go toward restoration of the Second Congregational Church's bell tower. This iconic Hyde Park landmark is in need of expensive repairs, so every brick and every light helps save the bell tower.
