Luckily, we have another artist lined up and ready to go!
Scott Luscome's paintings will be at the Lanpher Library through May 2014.
Scott was first encouraged to pursue art by his grade school art teacher, Ruth Lipowicz. His parents stressed a scientific career in botany and forestry. After college, he pursued a career as a professional gardener and in midlife was again encouraged by an instructor in a drawing class to pursue illustration and watercolor. He has taken courses in botanical illustration from Bente Starke King at the Cornell University Plantations and has had exhibitions of his watercolors at the Arkell Museum in Canajoharie, New York, and paintings shown at the Bryan Memorial Art Gallery in Jeffersonville, VT.
Please wander the Lanpher Library and enjoy the art of this local artist.
Monday 12-7, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 10-5, Saturday 10-1.
