As part of April Fair Housing Month, we invite you to share your creative interpretations of home and inclusive communities by inviting you as an artist of any age and ability, to request an art kit (acrylic paint, a canvas, paintbrush, and art prompts) from us. [email protected]
Create an piece of art that explores thoughts like: What do you think of when you think of "home" or "inclusion"? Can you illustrate how home feels differently now than it did last year? What would your ideal community look like if you drew it yourself?

The art will be compiled in an online gallery and all participants are invited to attend the April 29 Artist Reception.
The Lanpher Library has set up the book: "A Chair for my Mother", by Vera B. Williams, as a StoryWalk® along Main St. in Hyde Park. Start at Hyde Park Elementary School and continue up Main St. following the story pages as you go.
