A few years ago, it was brought to our attention that our Library was accessible....sort of.
Well, as the photos below will indicate, it's true. We have several barriers to getting through our doors.

Thanks to a Building Community Grant from the VT. Department of Buildings and General Services and the Taxpayers of Hyde Park, we're widening our welcome mat to all members of our Community!
Starting Monday, July 18th, construction begins!! We're getting a new door with an automatic opener, a cement walkway and a parking space that will have no curb and will be designated ADA Accessible!
Our Church Street Entrance will not be able to be used for a while, so please use the front door on Main St. If you are unable to use stairs, we'll have the back door available for those patrons who need it!
