In partnership with Lamoille Community House, we will show the movie:
The Public, about a Cincinnati librarian who helps a group of people experiencing homelessness take refuge at the free public library in order to survive a brutal winter night.
A community discussion will follow the film.
The Public is written and directed by Emilio Estevez, who also stars in the film along with an ensemble cast including: Alec Baldwin, Taylor Schilling, Christian Slater, Gabrielle Union, Jena Malone.
The movie and community discussion will also take place on Friday, October 4th at 6:00 at the Stowe Free Library and on Sunday, November 10th at 2:00 at Morristown Centennial Library.
